Anh Luong Tran is Professor of Finance at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School) of City, University of London. His research interests are in empirical corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, institutional investors, executive compensation, and corporate governance. His research has informed public policies and been published in many top journals and widely cited in the media. He has been delivering corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investment and valuation courses at MSc and undergraduate levels, executive education as well as industry consulting research projects.

Professor Tran is the Academic Director of the M&A Research Centre and the Director of the Business School's summer program. He is a member of the UK Research and Innovation's Talent Panel College, a Fellow of the Gupta Governance Institute, and a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He is also a founding member, trustee and vice president of the Vietnam Finance Association International.
